We're all back to routine this week. It feels good, but the Christmas break was fun, also.
Ernie went back to work on Sunday afternoon (8th) and is doing well. The Lord has had a hand on his back via the chiropractor!
They are loading the logging trucks to get as much wood out as possible before they have to move camp. That will be within two weeks, and then Ernie and Wes will be assigned a new block to log near Granby, CO. Still too far away. :(
But, with the move of machinery and trailers, there's sort of a break, so we plan on going up to Cranbrook, BC and taking care of some things at our house. I think it would just be Ernie, Wes and I going on that trip. Arls would stay here and homeschool and go to his Bball games, etc.
We want to clean up STUFF that we have there, sort through it, and probably U-Haul some of it down here. We may also get some renovations done on it before we consider selling it. Have to see how the market is up there.
Meanwhile, I'm answering phones at our church only every other week this year, babysitting on Wed. mornings, and then cooking dinner at the YWAM base on Thurs.
Mark and Tamara are still here at our house, and both working. It's great having them around. Takes away some of the loneliness with Ernie gone. Only some!!
So that's my blog for January~thankful to the Lord for all the good things in our lives.
