The Weekend

This Memorial weekend I drove up to Granby to hang out with my husband. We stayed in Winter Park, CO which is a popular ski area in this state. Then next morning, Sunday, we drove on into Denver, and attended church where our former pastor is now, and we heard a report from our former YWAM director and a friend on their trip to see missionaries in Pakistan and China. It was great seeing them again, and hearing what God is doing in those areas.
We had lunch with them at a quaint, authentic Mexican restaurant, then walked around at a flea market for awhile.
I stayed in the ol' loggers' trailer where Ernie has it parked near Granby that Sunday nite. Then I left just before lunch on Monday, back to the regular schedule, and Ernie back to cutting trees. The boys had gone camping with Wade, Jenn and kids for Friday to Sunday, and enjoyed themselves.
Then today I got the good news that my youngest sister is a grandma!! Stephanie had her baby daughter first thing this morning, May 30th, and another niece, Heidi Stewart, is just expecting her first. So the second cousins are popping out regularly. I wonder who will produce the next one on our side?? There are 10 second cousins on the Neufeld side, so Heidi's will be #11, unless someone else hasn't broken the news yet!
