Ernie and I took a quick trip up to Tacoma, WA this last Thurs-Sat! He had a pump go out on his machine, and so he phoned around to see where he could get another one. There was one in Iowa, and a few other places, but this one in Tacoma was the best price and we could travel there and back in three days. So we loaded the pump and got another part, and were back in the truck on our way home within 45 minutes of being there! It was rainy on the way up and cooling off, so on our way back we saw the snow on the mountains in WA, ID and UT. A pretty sight, but definitely telling us that winter is on the way.
We got home at midnight on Saturday, so didn't have to miss church. Ernie and Wes left for work around 6 this morning. They'll put that pump back in, and only miss about three days of work instead of 8.
Please pray that our passports get back here from Toronto this week!! Next week is the latest they can come, because Wes flies out of Denver on Sept. 29th. I'm getting quite concerned about it. I've left three messages with the visa office, and haven't heard from them at all.
Today I want to start sewing some PJs for Keagan~his 4th B'day is on Oct. 15th. I haven't sewn for years, so this may be a challenge!

Mom
I understand your concern with the passport office. I still get chills when I think how close Terran was to having problems with his green card, because they took so long with his passport.
Happy Sewing
