Prayer Request

I hope this is okay to share with you, so you can pray for resolution.
We paid a guy to order the tile roofing Ernie wanted, and I guess because of the California fires, it went up in price. But the guy said he could get it at the original price, so we gave him over $15,000 to order it. Well, long story short, he never did order it, and just kept giving excuses, and procrastinating. Our contract builder was following up and calling him, but he'd (Jerry) never return the calls. Ernie got ahold of him one Saturday, and they arranged that J would get a quit-claim paper from his lawyer, to pay us back, minus the paper and labor he had already put in. The next Sat. comes and goes with no call from him!! So here we sit, still with no resolution, our roof about a month behind schedule, and snow and rain still falling into the house.
So please pray for this guy, that the Lord would convict him (apparently he goes to church) and make him more honest. Thank you for your prayers in advance!!
