Baby Kaiser Simon Liebenthal has arrived!

I guess this blog is mostly for some of you who don't have a Facebook account.
Another sweet grandson arrived by C-section on Sunday night, June 7th. It was quite a surprise to know he was coming. We were just alerted at noon after church, when we were to have lunch with Tamara. We found a note on her back door that she had gone to the hospital to get checked about 15 min. before we arrived. So we went home and had our own lunch, then called her on the cell phone. She said she had lost all her 'water' over the last 24 hours, and they don't like to leave a babe in a dry womb. So they induced her with two doses a few hours apart, but she did not feel the contractions, nor did she dilate. The next decision was a C-section when Kaiser's heart started getting eratic.
Well, we had other committments Sunday night!! We were hosting two Chinese students that night, and had to go to a BBQ with the whole group. Mark called us about 7 p.m. that they were going into surgery for the Caesarian, and he was born at 7:47 p.m. Ernie and I brought the boys we hosted to our house, and Wesley stayed with them while we met little Kaiser Simon, and visited for an hour! He was 5 lbs. 13 oz, and 17 inches long! We all think he looks alot like Mark! What a blessing!
