Labor Day Weekend

We took our friends' RV and went to South Fork, Colorado for Saturday, Sunday, and Monday!! So fun to just relax! The reason we went was because Robin Mark, the Irish worship leader, was going to have a concert at a small church there in SF. I had 'booked' an RV spot in a town nearby via internet, but when we came into South Fork, we saw the Chapel where Robin was going to be, and then we saw this RV Park right beside it.
So we turned in there, and discovered it was full of Christian RVers, and they were having a potluck supper. We decided to stay and joined in with them, and had a great weekend!!
Except that Ernie's back hurt more and more each day, as he hooked up the RV, unhooked it, and hooked it up again!
But, we heard Robin Mark in person (for the second time in two years!) and it was awesome!! His songs are so great~just making you want to worship!! And the chapel was in walking distance.
We left the park after the concert on Monday night, drove just over an hour, slept in the RV beside the road, then got home before 7 a.m. on Tuesday morning!!!
Now it's back to routine!

It was SO nice to see GREEN trees in the south part of Colorado. Ernie hasn't worked in live forests for several years!! But I had to take a picture of it, it looked so lovely!! Beautiful mountain formations, too.
That one picture is of the retired RVers that come to this campground every summer for several months!! They all know each other, but accepted us with open arms. We felt young there. ;)
The last pic is of the RV hooked up to our truck. I didn't take the camera to the church to get a picture of Robin Mark performing!! He is a very unassuming man, short in stature, bald, etc, etc. But what a heart for singing praises with the Celtic flavor. We really enjoyed it.
