Aunt Lil, I notice that Uncle Ernie is doing this on the kitchen table. Were you okay with that? I chuckle just thinking about the outrage my mother would have been in. :) Bonnie
Absolutely, Bon! I'm so used to that, but I notice that I'm not involved as I used to be when I was younger. We cut and wrapped some tenderloin and filet mignon, and then just stripped the rest off and took it to a packing place that will make salami and pepperoni sticks out of it for us. These muley deer down here don't seem to be a smelly or have a wild taste to them like the ones in BC. Ernie always like the whitetails better, but we have no choice down here! Any wild meat in your freezer?
Today Jeff and Cam are cutting up thier deer. If anyone comes into my house (they are in the garage) without disinfecting thier hands, shoes etc, I'll die! and afterwards there will be a thorough sterilizing of my house. Jeff asked to use our kitchen table, and I was as outraged as Marge probably would be :)
