A Week Away

I just got back from being in the loggers' camp for a full week. It was a nice break, and the first week that Arlin wasn't full-on into schoolwork. He still has some Math to finish, and he's doing that for a few hours each day, because it's on DVD and he can do it on his own.
The following pictures show some of the area they're working in, near Granby, CO. One day I drove into Steamboat Springs to book rooms for another volleyball tournament. That was 1 1/2 hrs. each way.
What do I do while I'm in their camp? I cook for them, and they do appreciate that. I also clean alot more than they do~but I don't know if they even notice! There's no comment from them, anyway. I also get to read or knit, and just relax. I do not run the machinery!! Wes and Arls are so good at that, it's great experience they're getting out there.
Father's Day we spent in Vail at the King of the Mountain volball tournament. It was also Ernie's 63rd B'day, and he enjoyed being there and watching (coaching) the boys. We'll have a BBQ at our house this Sunday, the 25th, to celebrate with the whole family here.
Then Wade, Jenn, their boys, Wes and Arlin went to Water World in Denver on Monday. So that's why I had Aleah in camp with me for one night, then came back down to Montrose. She's teething, so was a bit cranky once in awhile. She'll be very cute with teeth, too. =)
