As we came back from our trip and got back into Colorado, Ernie and I decided to take a different route back to Granby. So we took the road through Greeley and came to Estes Park, and had a lovely supper there! Then we travelled through Rocky Mtn. National Park, where I've wanted to go for awhile. The sight was awesome!! At one point you're driving at a 12,186 foot altitude!! There was quite a bit of snow still, and as we came down towards the lower edge of the park we saw elk, deer and moose. It was too dark already for me to get any pictures of the moose, but the elk were not very spooky. I was hoping we'd see a bear, but they were hiding!!
