Correction!!

We had a great day in Boulder yesterday, Sunday, watching those AVP players in action, and in person!! We stayed in Denver on Sat. nite, so we got good seats on the bleachers. We were in the hot sun all day, so deepened our tans a bit.
But the correction I want to make is that I got some names mixed up when I mentioned the
Olympic players in my last blog. The Misty May is right, but it's Kerri Walsh, not Kralch, or whatever I said. I was mixing up the men's duo of Mike Lambert and Karch Kiraly, with Kerri's name. :( But it so good to see them in person~except that those two awesome teams didn't win! The ladies that won this tournament were Coloradans, so that was neat for them to win when their families and fans were there.
Next weekend (Labor Day) is the Mother Load Volleyball tournament in Aspen, CO. Wade and Wes have entered the 'A' division, so we'll see how they do. If they lose two games, they're out! But it was good watching these Olympic players, to see some strategy. It's mostly playing smart, but also have the strength and height to spike hard.
Then the next weekend, Sept 10th, Mark and Tamara are moving to Colorado!! They'll stay in our Sandpiper RV till they find an apt or house to rent in the Grand Junction area. So the job hunting will start all over for Tamara, while Mark has to find a 'first' job with his degree. So please keep them in your prayers!

Nice to finally meet you Aunt Lil (I've noticed your comments on Jeff and Warrens sites, but I wasn't sure of your relation to them... the giesbrechts are too big a family for me to keep up:)
I'm an old friend of Terry's and Warren and Carrie's who used to live in St. George. I just moved to Florida in may... I'm still in a little bit of culture shock! I guess I am still learning, just like you how to politely deal with and slightly educate all these American Egos;) Some of them don't even know where Canada is! It's rediculous! but most of them are pretty nice people. That is Awesome that you got to see all those Olympic players play... I remember, I think those are the ones that Terry and Warren used to make us watch on TV. I really enjoyed it, but they usually watched it 24/7. It was all the watched! It would probably be way more interesting to me if I were to watch it in person. I hope your boys do well in their game/games and I will for sure keep Mark and Tamara in my prayers too, I know how hard it can be starting over:)
